Foundry Hall in South Haven Hosts "An Dro" Saturday November 6th

Foundry Hall is operated by musician Andru Bemis, who has a knack for selecting some of the more interesting and technically accomplished musicians in the Midwest.  On Saturday, November 6th, the group An Dro has been invited to perform at Foundry Hall.

According to Andru, the group perfoms "traditional acoustic music with a creative jazzy twist. You'll hear traditional Irish melodies, medieval French songs, Breton dance tunes, Scandinavian refrains, Appalachian influences, Latin rhythms, and African grooves - all built on a Celtic foundation." These myriad styles are complemented by an equally diverse array of instruments: fiddle, guitar, mandolin, bouzouki, hurdy-gurdy, harp, doumbek, bodhran, cajon and tambourine are just part of the band's musical palette.

Tickets can be purchased in advance through the Foundry Hall website, or tickets will be available at the door just prior to the 7:30 pm show.  Visitors in need of overnight lodging accommodations can contact the Victoria Resort in South Haven, which has been a strong supporter of Foundry Hall for many years.
