Live music this weekend in South Haven

Friday, March 26th at Foundry Hall ~ Two great midwestern old-time stringbands together for the first time! Cincinnati's Tillers meet Kalamazoo's Who Hit John? for an evening of music which is both traditional and progressive, serving a concoction of old-time traditionals, labor standards, and some less typical songs of the people's perspective. Clawhammer banjos, acoustic guitars, fiddle, jawharp and upright basses meet high mountain harmonies that belt and croon, lament and rejoice, while we all stomp and sing along.

Saturday, March 27th at Foundry Hall ~ Bill Bosler, hammered dulcimer, and Kevin Lockhart, finger style guitar, have been playing and performing for years. Their music plays off of each other's strengths, creating a unique blend of melody, counter melody, and harmonies all at once. Their performances capture that spirit with a mix of original and traditional tunes with a unique flair in their arrangements. Their latest CD, "Waterbound," was chosen as one of the best of 2008 by the Back Porch Radio program on WVPE-FM public radio.

Space is still available in the bed and breakfast, and we have one guest cottage available that can accommodate four or six people.  Click here for reservations and visit FoundryHall.com to purchase tickets for the show.
